898 km in 7 days: We start with Dubrovnik and are immediately completely intoxicated. The city is really charming, even if there are tons of tourists here. The famous Croatian coast with the islands is beautiful. We drive to the Peljesac peninsula and Korcula, visit Trogir, the Krka National Park with its countless beautiful waterfalls and drive to the Plitvice Lakes. The little hike is doing us a lot of good and we enjoy the stillness of the morning. The country is great to drive on, as long as you don’t have to stop, park or even look for a place to stay overnight, because that’s often not allowed or not welcome. And that is sometimes stressful. Unfortunately, you can’t feel welcome here.
